personal: Japanese Garden Cal State Long Beach

For quite some time now, I'd complain and say taking pictures of things that don't move is so blah..boring. There's no expression, there's no emotion, there's no feeling, there's nothing. Now looking back, I laugh at myself for saying such a silly thing.

Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust to your own    reactions and convictions. Ask yourself: "Does this subject move me to feel, think and     dream? Can I visualize a print - my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey - from the subject before me? - Ansel Adams

'Beautiful' is all around us, we just have to take the time to appreciate it.  Canny and I spent part of Sunday afternoon at Cal State Long Beach's Japanese Garden..My favorite is the first photo below. Something about Cherry Blossoms make my heart smile. Just when I thought landscapes are boring, I surprise myself. This picture screams emotion to me...I promise this won't be the last time you see a cherry blossom tree ;)
