personal: cabo san lucas vacay

What a blast we had!!!! So much fun that I forgot to carry the dslr around with us...actually I lied. I was too lazy to! That thing is heav-yyy......which is why I chose to bring the d90 instead of the 700 to begin with. Not only that, I'm extremely paranoid about carrying the Beast while on vacation...vacation means full relaxation mode. Relaxation mode probably equals careless Helen. Careless Helen will probably lose the cam, and that would be the end of me. Nuff said. Anyway, here are the few I captured..yes, 4.

I don't normally post photos from the baby cam (our dying point-n-shoot--really, it's on life support) but this is the only way I'd be able to share our wonderful vacation with you all! So ignore all the techie stuff and enjoy!

30 years and counting.......

30 years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Kang promised to love for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do them part! Their 3 children Janet, Sarah, and Daniel congratulated them by hosting a 30 year wedding anniversary party with 60 of their parents closest family and friends...

The celebration was held at the lovely Cafe Pinot in downtown LA (reserved the entire outdoor seating area--perfect!) Congratulations, Mr and Mrs. Kang! Wishing you two many many more!

Thank you for the opportunity to document this special milestone!

Enjoy!

wedding: sunny + alex

I hold Memorial Weekend weddings dear to my heart...for those of you who know my cousin Jacky, she and her husband wed the same weekend, in 2010. I told her if I were to marry, I'd want it to be the same weekend so that we can celebrate our anniversaries together! lol.

I had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful wedding with Youkeun Oh. So many DIY projects were incorporated here...I love it when couples add personal touches to their wedding. It shows so much character and makes for beautiful photos! We started the day at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas, then headed to the ginormous Grace International Church in Fullerton! (When I say ginormous, I mean GINORMOUS. This church has 4000+ members!)

Although I didn't meet Sunny and Alex until the day of their wedding, I could tell they are very sweet people and obviously in love with one another. Pictures say a zillion words...so check them out below!
